Its more like a 4.5! I hated and loved this book so much! The characters development went in so many different ways. I liked the ending a lot, everything that happened at the end made it a great book overall. Read both of them in a few hours, they get you hooked.

Overdramatic but I couldn't stop reading it Ronan and Blaire are imperfect and their unconventional love story was entertaining.

I shouldn't even feel disappointed after reading this duet. Because I knew it's a love triangle and I absolutely dislike them. I decided to give this a shot though because I thought the blurb was enticing. And would you look at the cover please. But I'm not even surprised that I didn't like it.

The only good thing about this book was Ronan but even then I couldn't even imagine anyone except Ronan the Accuser from Guardians of the Galaxy..lol. Nevertheless I liked him. He's one of those guys who will give up anything for the woman they love.

Lawrence was....meh. I feel like he wasn't a striking character. Just same old good looking guy with pockets as deep as the oceans.

And Blair. Oh God. She was so annoying. Okay she's beautiful and good in bed. So what? Why does everyone has to fall in love with her? She's not unique. She's not special. Still stone cold guys like Lawrence who's addicted to dirty sex falls in love with her. That's total BS. It's as if she's some goddess no one can resist. I mean she has no qualities that would drive guys crazy except satisfying their physical needs.

SpoilerAnd the ending. What the hell was a good guy like Ronan thinking he can't live without a girl like Blaire? What was the reason to constantly separate Ronan and Blaire only to bring them together back again? The few years separation was so unnecessary.

"Love can be many things. Cruel. Exhilarating. Deceitful. Jealous. Hateful. But at its purest form, love can be redeeming—forgiving."
It was kinda frustrating to be honest. Especially when Blaire kept bouncing back & forth between the two men and I'm just here like, 'Damn it Blaire! Keep your shit together!' But I could proudly say that I was very happy with the ending but my gosh, @miaasherauthor , I was crossing my fingers up until the very page, wishing that she'll end up where I want her to be 😁😍 And I honestly lost hope for my ship while reading the first half but thank heavens, I WON! Lol ✌✌ Not gonna spoil anyone...

This was a great duet. I loved the characters, storyline, and angst. The writing was great. I highly recommend it.

I am instantly wrapped up in these characters. The heroine is so complex and definitely starts off as a character that is easily disliked but then the hero who was the nice guy ended up going down a very similar route! They both needed to learn lessons and I definitely think that showcased their maturity.

The ended left more to be desired. I did really enjoy how the heroine went to find herself and find who she is without a rich man funding her life but the hero just randomly popped up again and I have no idea how he found her all the way in Paris. I loved it because it was different from what I've previously read but it needed more.
