Not for everyone.

I will not make any comment on the quality of the writing but I will say this,
I am like one of those people that can go into a cluttered home up for sale and strip back everything visually to see myself living there. Many people, the majority really just cannot do that. Imagine that when you contemplate reading these books with your sneer permanently etched on your face.
They transported me and that was good enough.

The Twilight series is alot like junk food - initially satisfying but without actual substance and you usually regret it in the end.

I read all of the books twice and while I liked it at first by the last book it made me want to puke. Twilight is basically Mills and Boon for generation Y.

The story in itself is fine, but the writing is very immature and poor. The characters, themselves, are not well-rounded. The fandom this has created is so strange to me.

I'm taking a young adult literature class, and I read this for a book review assignment. It is an unusual, but good book. The author is Stephanie Meyer who critics are saying is the next J. K. Rowlings. The book is about a girl falling in love with a vampire - I know that sounds like it wouldn't be good, but actually it is an engaging story.
