Man I just love Superman. This has kind of a similar format to American Alien, which I liked. I can’t wait till the movie comes out. There’s so much uplifting heart in a good Superman story. It even got me misty-eyed. I also really loved the art.

A great first introduction into the world of Superman, the color palette in this is gorgeous and the writing is great. Also funny how Clark Kent is just one giant balloon of a man.

I appreciated the different perspectives of the people in Superman‘s life Like Lois Ln., Lex Luthor and Lana Lang background story the fact that it was broken up into seasons, which made the chapters easier to read. I really liked Tim Sales Art in this. I would say this is some of Jeph and Tim sales best work next to  Long Halloween.
 
I really did appreciate the wholesomeness perspective that his father has in the first chapter of him and then we see Lois Lane, which is his rival in not so much Lex Luthor — it’s a playful rivalry that he has with Lois Lane which really shows their dynamic of relationship and I like that. I really do appreciate Lana‘s relationship and romance with Superman and I think this is the first story that is really shown them together for me or how she likes him and I think I would definitely would love to see more books with their relationship as opposed to just Lois Lane 

The splash pages and the choice of colors for panels are  some of my favorite.In fact I would love to own some of these panels. I would love to own this book physically I did read this book digitally, and it did make me want to own the format physically after reading it. I am so excited to see how this get into
this new movie
