So I found a Superman I liked! This is such a gentle, heartfelt take on the Man of Steel—it’s less about big action and more about who Clark Kent is at his core. It’s told in four seasons, each from a different character’s POV (Lois, Lex, Pa, Lana), which gives it a really personal, grounded feel that I loved. To me this really feels nostalgic without being sappy, and I appreciate the narrative throughout…. You really get the sense of Superman as a symbol and a man just trying to do the right thing. It’s not flashy, but I think it will stick with me in a quiet, meaningful way.
The art is kinda charming, and the stories are even better. I really love how the narration is from everyone around him. His father, Lois, Lex and Lana. It's well-told and wonderful.

This might be my favorite Superman story of all time, from the portrayal of the characters to the lovely artwork. It just captures the essence of what makes Clark Kent (and therefore Superman) who he is in a very sweet, sightly melancholy way. I really can't get over the art, it's so gorgeous.
This is a solid retelling of Superman’s story narrated by people closest to him (Pa Kent, Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, and Lana Lang). I like that it goes more into his roots in Smallville, and even Superman realizes he can’t save everyone all the time. Solidly written, great artwork from Tim Sale, and gets more into the human side of the Man of Steel, and those are the best type of Superman stories for me.

Borrowing a copy of Superman For All Seasons and I’ll happily say that it is one of the best graphic novels I’ve read. The art style takes some getting used to and the fact that it’s implied that Superman killed everyone on an entire train
