I received this as an arc for my honest review
This was the second book in the series that I’ve read and this was even better than the first. I loved the building relationship between James and Catriona but also the crime solving storyline. I really loved that it took me a while to figure it all out. I’m definitely becoming a fan of Mariah Stone.

Cartiona and James are a awesome together in this. The writer created an intriguing romantic tale involving the past and future of two worlds. For me the book started out as a slow pace, but then at the halfway point of the book the excitement picked up. I enjoyed that the book was a happy ending book. All the characters where interesting and charming. The fancy wording was a bit much. The dialect and Gaelic was awesome. I appreciate that.
