Heartwarming story about how we could all use a friend, human or not, and how good it feels to be wanted/needed. Though I had to suspend disbelief a few times because the plot felt a bit outlandish at times (ex. going to the hospital to get medical supplies for a mouse and the doctor actually helping instead of checking you in for mental illness, LOL), that is the beauty of fiction. It still managed to make me feel emotional in the end.

“The only consolation of being the last to go,” she admits, “is knowing the people you loved the most won’t suffer the way you do in their absence.”

cute, cozy, and sentimental read 🤍 I thought the author did a great job addressing loneliness, grief, and how finding a chosen family can make all the difference 🥹 It was giving “Remarkably Bright Creatures,” but I preferred “Sipsworth.” The characters were very likable and who wouldn’t want to read about an old lady and her mouse companion. Shout out to the local bookstore for putting me on 😍

This book was so lovely. The prose was beautiful, and the story was as well. It deals with grief, personal connections, and finding joy in seemingly hopeless times. Sipsworth touched me so deeply.
