I read the audiobook and it was very cozy. I wanted to sit by the fireplace and doze off while listening. Such a wholesome narrative about finding home in others at an old age. I loved her adventures with Sipsworth and the symbolism within. Nothing revolutionary but a perfect warm hug on a cold rainy day.

I need more books like Sipsworth… the love for this slim novel across bookstagram quickly grabbed my attention. I’m glad I finally gave it the time it deserves. The story is about an older woman (Helen) whose loneliness is consuming her. A stray mouse becomes a delightful companion while also building a small community of new friends for Helen. A quick life affirming read that will be one I will be revisiting.
