This book really grabbed me at the beginning, and I was quite taken with the writing. I did find it lagged a little in the middle section, but it picked up again. It was gripping, I didn’t ever want to put it down.

The most long-winded book I’ve ever had the misfortune to read. I actually cannot believe I got through it…… though the phrase ‘1,2 skip a few’ comes to mind.
