Such a cute little feel good romance! I didn't read the back of the book before buying so the whole ground hog, day repeating thing, just kind of took me by surprise. I would recommend this book though! Such a good read and a good lesson to learn. I also got a tattoo idea from this. I would highly recommend if you need a good Valentines day book

4.5 ⭐️ | one of the first ya romances where the protagonist didn’t make me want to rip my hair out the entire time.

This book was such a fun read, it really reminded me of Today, Tonight, Tomorrow. Everything happens so fast, so perfectly, that it only makes sense in a book. But I flew through this one, and I obsessed over every character along the way.

I physically loved this book with my entire SOUL and will be 10000% rereading this on Valentine’s Day next year. I think the reason I love Lynn Painter so much is because her books are like 98% fluff with 2% plot, and in my opinion, I think that’s what makes up a good comfort book. Specifically in this book, I thought the idea of a groundhogs day during V-Day was SOOOOO funny!! It was such a quick read and I could hardly put it down! I think that Nick was just such a cute character and I truly wish that we got to see more of his good side of his personality.
Spoiler On top of all of this, I think it was such a good plot-twist of how when she did everything right, she STILL had to repeat the day again.
The part that kind of took me out of it though was how on the day she decided to yolo her life, it turned into a bit of a trauma dumping thing. Of course, it was a respectable thing to do to keep the plot going, but it felt like those couple of chapters dragged on and on. I think for those reasons, as much as I loved this book, I might have to rerate it as a 4.5/5. Still absolutely amazing, and would 100% recommend, buttttt there were some parts that didn’t really fit the vibe of the book.
