This was so easy to read and really hard to put down. I love the twins, they are so funny, definitely my favourite characters. There are lots of mysteries about the school and Gabriel's family. I've already bought book 2 and can't wait to read it!

I really enjoyed this, it’s a heart warming tale filled with thievery and boarding schools and found family - what’s not to love?
The characters are fun and the dialogue is snappy, Gabriel makes for a sweet-yet-cocky protagonist and there’s a great message at the end about how family isn’t just about blood.
My biggest criticism is that this is very much a set-up book. There is no real conflict until the last fifty pages as the rest of the book is filled with establishing the characters and the school and the lore of this world. Also, the Nameless are established as the “big bad” yet I’m still not really sure why.
Overall though, this will be perfect for fans of Harry Potter and the abandoned child/boarding school tropes. It’s a lot of fun and leaves us wanting for more in the series!

A fun, quick read that was packed full of plot and developed characters. I really enjoyed it! A great start to a series I’ll definitely be following.
