surprised me that they suddenly changed pov’s but it’s nice to know all about the “other side”. i initially didn’t like it when i watched the anime but grew to enjoy knowing more about the marleyan side.

Finally back at it! This was an interesting volume. It hints at how things are going with our familiar heroes back in Paradise, but it's been 3-4 years since the events of the previous volume and I want to get back to them asap!! Interesting to learn more about the Eldian people tho, but since we were thrown right into the middle of a battle with a whole new cast of characters it was a little difficult getting into this volume.

We finally get the backstory of what the hell made Reiner, Annie, and Bertoldt do the things they did. What it all comes down to is Eldians fighting Eldians with these Marleyan assholes looking over everything. They should just team up and rule the world!
