I really enjoyed this next instalment of the series. Barney is such a loveable character and his situation made me feel so sad for him. Being captured by humans and being made into a servant for them was so heartbreaking to read about. I feel this was a good direction to lead this series on because it shows what humans are using the bears for. Despite them being exploited, Barney still seemed happy to serve the humans.
Once again, this was a short book but I felt like I could get a connection with Barney and understand his situation. I would have liked to have read in the perception of more bears he got to know. I’m hoping we get to hear more about other bears and I’m hoping for some kind of a bear rebellion.
