Reading Bukowski is like visiting an old friend. The writings the same, but the details are different, the feeling is familiar but new. Once again he’s living his life as a complete pisshead, bumbling around from job to job. What a boyo.

You know an author has you when you read his 200+ page book in one day. There's just something about Bukowski's writing...I can't get enough if it! I think it's the honesty and his horrid sense of humor. I can't wait to get into his poetry.
