A great story about figuring out life in your early 20s and encapsulating the magic of 2010 Nashville with real life details and great playlists. Favorite book of the year so far.

DNF at 50% on audio. Narration is super annoying (especially Sloan’s voice and most of the male characters) and hard to follow given the unique yet choppy structure of the book. Very boring plot too!

sometimes you’re in the mood to read a book about a really stupid, self-involved 23 year old and that’s okay!

LOFi is a book about the struggles of making it in the music industry. The work and dedication that it takes to be a success in this industry is astounding. I recommend downloading the playlist for book from arrowhead books on Spotify.

I've never read a book about music where the author made it very clear she doesn't actually listen to music. You can't add Taylor swift songs to a few spotify curated "indie folk" playlists, throw in a few too many references to the main characters wet coochie and call it a book. You just can't.

This is an absolutely perfect portrait of what it’s like to live in the music scene in Nashville. I’m so grateful to have this book as a time capsule of my life!! Wow. Absolutely floored by how well this represents the scene, the lifestyle, all the good and the bad.
