Before this synopsis for Fairyland was released the book cover appeared, and I fell in love immediately. I love the new designs for this whole series but Fairyland has to be my favourite one. Fairyland picks up straight after Fairystruck, with Dred and Mitch/Mick travelling from their cancelled rehearsal due to half the band being AWOL. The chapters alternate between the band, the faeries; and Erin, Jason and Grizlemor as they all take their own paths to find their target.

I really enjoyed reading Fairyland, more so than the previous books. With Jason and Erin we get to see more of Fairyland which I loved. We got to learn more about all the different creatures that lived there and the different things that come to life. My favourite had to be the Sweetgum and Sourgum trees, they had me laughing out loud at them. I loved the adventures Jason, Erin, and Grizlemor got up to and I am so glad that Jason and Erin got their act together.

I loved Aiode and Liadan's journey. Aiode was so clueless about the human world but it made her that much more hilarious and endearing. She was like a fish out of water in the human world, and considering the circumstances I think she coped very well. When the faeries and the humans are all finally together secrets are revealed that I had no clue about but my suspicions were right about another character and I was glad to finally see it in action.

By the time Fairyland finished I couldn't stand Mick/Mitch, he is getting far to big headed and thinks everything revolves around him. I hope he gets his reality checked soon and is pulled back down to earth.
I really don't want to say too much about Fairyland in case I spoil it for others, just know that it is a great instalment in the series and I am really looking forward to finding out what happens next.
