This is probably olivie blake's mots coherent book and I really appreciated that. There is something olivie blake is allergic to, though, and it's setting a scene. Where are the descriptions? Please, tell me something about the world we're in. I don't need paragraphs of details, but just some.

So my first attempt at reading this one failed. I picked it back up and got through it the second time. The story was good, a retelling of Romeo and Juliet, and it kept my attention. If I were to give it one negative it would be that at times it felt like it was made too complicated with the many names for each character and just too much fluff. The story line was good and I did enjoy it. 3.4 stars. Thank you for the eARC.

I wasn't a huge fan of this book. I think I might just not like Blake's writing style in general. It very much said the same thing over and over again in different ways during dialogue scenes and the characters weren't particularly interesting or memorable and there wasn't a plot to make up for that.
