Super cute and fun - one of my favorites so far, I think. Some weird new relationship foreshadowing that I’m not sure about, but less putting herself in danger stupidly. Good character growth for all the side characters — and Eddie is just awesome.

When I started this book I assumed that Eddie the cat was going to contribute to solving the mystery-- as in Wishbone or Chet and Bernie stories. I was disappointed to realize that Eddie was a regular (and in my opinion, annoying) cat.

The beginning of Cat with a Clue is charming and the last pages are suddenly, abruptly, and unbelievably action-packed. But the majority of the book was terribly boring and felt like filler. It was a struggle for me to finish.

Cat with a Clue is my first cozy mystery read, so I wonder if this particular series just wasn't a good match for me or if this genre overall isn't my style.

A stand alone story with a cat sprinkled through the story. Could tell the author knows cats as some things made me smile seeing that personality shining through. A nice mystery set in northern lower Michigan with a librarian that part of the time runs a bookmobile that the cat travels with her. She happens upon a dead body and ends up being involved trying to solve a murder. It is set in a small town. Did start guessing who the bad person was but still an enjoyable afternoon read.

Great book. This is cozy mystery series that may be read stand alone. BUT it is so much better read in order. LOVED and looking forward to the next book. Now I have to wait for the next book out in 2017.
