*My Review* 5 Stars: A Crazy Awesome love story
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I have not read the other books in the series, but I am looking forward to checking them out.
I can't say I completely understand why I love this kind of story. The Hollywood starlet that doesn't really want to be in the spotlight appeals to me. A cop who is a drummer in a country-western band... what better combination could there be? The chances they would meet and fall in love? Probably slim to none in real life, but somehow, the writer manages to make their pairing totally believable. You will root for them to find a way to make their relationship work because when they are apart, your heart breaks along with theirs. The chemistry between the two is hot and the way the writer describes their feelings and reactions to each other has your pulse pounding right along with Kat and Hunter's. This was a relatively quick book to read; I made it through in just a few hours. Katie/Kat is a very likable character, and why wouldn't she be, she's America's Sweetheart. And she feels the pressure of being in the limelight, longing to have just a little bit of decision making control over her own life. Hunter is a guy that will just melt your heart. The attraction is very hot and steamy. I didn't feel at all like the story was rushed, even though I was racing to get through it to see if they ended up together, and the ending and epilogue were perfect. I felt satisfied at the end of the story, which is not something I always feel at the end of a love story. If I had a paperback copy, I probably would have fallen asleep clutching it with a smile on my face.

I can't get enough of Savannah Young's Old Town Country Romance books! Loved reading about Hunter now that he's a police offer and "grown up," as he falls for Katie Lawrence (who reminded me a bit of Jennifer Lawrence for some reason), a Hollywood movie star. The romance scenes are perfect in length, the story will have you turning the pages and you'll fall for all of the Wilde boys once again.
