I'm so happy i've found this book. I've been trying to remember for so long what it was called. I read it about 3 years ago and i loved it! I remember finding the beginning a bit slow, but once i got into it i couldn't put this down.
This book was so good. It was so painful to read sometimes because I was feeling what Gemma was feeling. I had the feeling to be in the desert with her. I loved the fact that this book is a letter it was so weird at first to read like she was talkling to me. I would recommend it anytime.

this book is amazing, it’s the book that got me into reading!!! i reread the first 30 pages of this about 8 or 9 months after i read it for the first time and i really felt like i was in gemmas shoes, you feel like you’re revisiting memories that your brain is trying to hide. i have a special place in my heart for this book, when you read it you feel like you ARE gemma. soooo good. i can’t wait to read the sequel.
Is it bad the camel is really the only character I really feel for? This guy stalked her for such an early age. I don't understand why all kidnapping stories have to have victim fall in love with the kidnapper? This doesn't seem like an idea to push. Like.....I don't know. This books has me feeling all types of ways.
