Someone at school told me that I had to read this book and I obliged. This book was a fantastic read with a plot that keeps readers wondering what will happen next. It made me think not only about what she should do next, but also about what I would do if I were ever to be "stolen." I have always wanted to go to Australia, but not like this.
I thought the ending wasn't going to be as good.
It was predictable. There's not a side you can pick unless you're biased for personal reasons. Other than that, I would say it's pretty decent. I liked the plotline. I guess these kinds of stories don't interest me as much as others. Hence the four stars.
Overall, a good book!
It leaves the reader with unanswered questions. It was pretty thrilling, but it lost me towards the end. As I said, the ending wasn't for me.
I still liked the book and am looking forward to more of the author's works.

Okay, so I usually love books along this theme because I'm really into psychology, but I was disappointed. There were so many times when I thought of just setting it back on my bookshelf and not completing it at all. I don't know, it definitely wasn't a book I loved or will want to read again.
Making my way through the Printz winners/honors.
Very interesting use of the second person -- it puts you as the reader into the place of the kidnapper, making you want the narrator to like "you"

Not sure what to rate this if I’m being honest... I started it back in May, hated it and stuffed it in a corner and refused to read it for months… then I decided to finally finish it earlier today. It’s a pretty short book, but it literally felt like the longest book I’ve ever read. There were many parts of it I did not like (skimmed through a lot of it lol). But then there were some parts that actually got me reading it and feeling all sorts of emotions. Those parts were really good!
And so I don’t even know how to feel about this book now… I wouldn’t say I liked it, but I feel so empty now that I’ve finished it. The ending was a lot to take in. And now I want another book!!

I loved this book, but the ending really disappointed me. This book is very good at making you feel a form of sympathy towards the main antagonist, even though there shouldn't be any. This book really made me emotional and I highly suggest if you are down for a rollercoaster of emotions.
