I thoroughly enjoyed the System Divine series, and the rebellion I witnessed grow into a revolution. My only complaint was the love triangle. I don’t mind love triangles too much as long as it doesn’t get to the point where the center is stuck between the two love interests (they can’t decide because they love them both). It immediately dampers any love I had for the center character; especially, if their actions causes the two love interests to be led on. Despite the love triangle, I loved the plot and adored the majority of the characters; Alouette, Etienne, Cerise, and Gabriel in particular. Oh, and Denise, Jacqui, and Hugo.

I tried.. that’s all I can say with this book. At first I was so excited to read it. Then it became apart of my nightstand for a good couple weeks. Then I had it in my backpack for a good couple days. THEN I finally read 300 pages in one sitting and decided I hat I just need to get this book over with. Don’t get me wrong, I remember liking this series but it is so big that I could use it in self defense. I have a love hate relationship with the fact that there is an overview. I wish more books had them but in this case I wish it didn’t. As in I wish there were less characters. Whenever I was reading this book I just went with whatever was happening and was somewhat able to piece together what had happened in the past two books. I wish there was only the three main characters POVs but at the same time there were some other characters that I enjoyed but not as much. It seemed very spread out and there was obviously, a lot going on at once.
