This novel is very different from other books by the same author. It’s much more of a slow burn, and it’s less action-packed. 
I loved the imagery and found it very eery the whole time.

My favorite by this author so far. I overall found the protagonist more likable, interesting and nuanced than her other female leads. Due to the college setting it could lead a bit more YA.

Really enjoyed A Flicker in the Dark and All the Dangerous Things. Expected to like this one as much, but it disappointed. It felt amateur compared to the other two.
