I read this because I loved the Apple TV series so much and I wanted more but they have only released 2 seasons. Safe to say they were very respectful to source material, the book was 95% the same as the show. If you're thinking of taking up this one and you've seen this show already you can probably skip over it as the show does such a good job adapting it for the screen.
