This book deserves a thorough review which I hope to return to at some time in the near future. On a surface level this book is remarkable and is not repetitive as some have mentioned in the reviews.

This book delivers a comprehensive, rich dynamic study of our current predicament in late modernity and develops a coherent framework through which we can analyze our past, present, and path forward while embedded in a system which demands an adversarial relationship with world, and each other. How do we re-embedded a system of relations that privileges resonance with not only subjects but objects (world). Rosa offers some thoughts on the path forward at the end, but more importantly in this book, Rosa lays out the method through which we can diagnose and prescribe our own solution to the problem. This is the importance of this work.
