This volume was ok. This one is looking at more of the connection with the Ice Cream man and the Cowboy, which I did find intriguing.

This strangely got a lot better. It's weird but it's entertaining at times.

This installment was pretty dull compared to the first two. It's a bit more like backstory, but it's not really a backstory I felt like I needed? The third issue (Chapter 11) was the best in my opinion: it kept the wacky dream-scape horror with witty black humor at the forefront.

After the first two volumes, which I really enjoyed, this was a letdown. The only story that I felt was worth it was the first one, which gives us a glimpse into the story of Caleb and the Ice Cream Man. I know not every story in a volume like this can be great, but all of these fell so short of the precedents set in the last volumes. Disappointing.

I feel like evil villains get ruined when you explain their backstory. Like Darth Vader. Ice cream man is kind of the same thing.

Weird tales, creepy and sardonic.

For whatever reason, I can't seem to get enough of this even though it makes me a little ill to read it.
