Was mildly disappointed with this book. It's mainly a constant rate fantasy. I did like the mix of ghost story, murder mystery, romance the genre had to it.

This book was fantastic BUT PEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS cause this book will NOT be for everyone! I jumped in head first without reading them and learned fast that I don't actually have an issues with triggers and I find them to ruin the surprise of the book. But that just ME!

Haunting Adeline is a dark romance stalker book and oh boy the MMC ZADE (even though stalkerish) was sexy as SIN and the things that man could do would have a nun blushing. The MFC was strong and fearless with an attitude she threw around which had me enjoying the journey. I loved her haunted mansion and the mystery within it. I felt it gave the story an edge and the way it mirrored the MFC life was an added bonus. I highly recommend reading this book only IF you can handle the triggers.

I hate this from the bottom of my heart. If you genuinely like this book the way the author wanted us to like the book, then I cannot have respect for you. Calling this romance is WRONG on SO many levels. Our girl Adeline is one of the dumbest and the most unrealistic female characters I've seen in a long time. What woman that is in the right state of mind would fall in love with a stalker who terrorised her for months and r*ped her multiple times? How can our stalker boy Zade save hundreds of innocent girls from being hurt in ANY way, and then at the end of the day hurt another innocent girl whom he knows nothing about??? I mean WHO does he thinks he is to just see a random girl on the street and just claim her like she is some kind of object? Kill men who TOUCH HER. Because who is he to control her life so much? Who dies he thinks he is to not let her have any saying in who she is going to be with. He killed a man because she took him home. Oh I'm sorry Zade, are you jealous that Archie didn't have to force himself onto her like you did, instead she actually wanted to sleep with him? I can’t with this book. It's so so so bad. I liked the beginning because it was so spooky, but then they started calling stalking and traumatising a girl romance. No thank you.

If nothing else kept me entertained? My first one star finished read. I don’t care about the themes. It’s a book, it’s not real. Write about whatever you want. But just because you read does not mean you are able to write. And just because someone writes about sex does not mean it needs to be published. The worst part? The sex scenes are well written. It feels like the author is stumbling through the plot and quickly and obviously as possible to get to the sex. If the whole book had the level of care as those moments, it would be better.
