Tessa Dare’s romances give me such bi panic. Alex is hot. Chase is hot. I want to smooch them both on the mouth but also on the top of their head.

i enjoyed their story quite a lot but it was a little repetitive for me! but the found family vibes were real and the pair kept me quite entertained!

Again, this book is just so funny! I had forgotten how much I enjoyed both this one and its predecessor in the series ([b:The Duchess Deal|33259027|The Duchess Deal (Girl Meets Duke, #1)|Tessa Dare|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1490030736l/33259027._SY75_.jpg|53979944]).
Here we have Chase, forever rake and filled with self-loathing, now tasked with the care of two young girls. Enter Alex. She chanced into this governess position and becomes quickly entangled in the charms of Alex. Feelings grow, hearts get slightly broken, propriety has no place here and it all amasses to one very enjoyable read.
This second book is as fun and easy to read as the first one. Perhaps a bit more modern, but I did not mind. Certainly one of my favorites.

Cute! But I found the first book's plot more convincing.

Tessa Dare you can do no wrong!!! I almost wanted to rate this a 4 because it wasn’t quite as good as the other two I’ve read from her, but then I realized that’s SILLY because compared to literally every other romance in existence this is top tier (and that’s saying something because I’ve read a lot of romance). This is the not-exactly-wholesome-but-still-somehow-completely-heartwarming romance we deserve!!!!

I was really excited the read this book especially when I found out the heroine was Filipina. You can tell Tessa Dare did her research and I loved the name drop of the Aswang. I absolutely loved Alexandra, but I wanted more out of Chase. It was definitely a fun read!
