There some really good poems here but I felt the brunt of them to be less impactful. Not that all poetry needs to resonate with the reader but it was not my favorite.

Yet another impressive collection by Leav, beautifully and painfully written.
3.5 stars. An impressive collection of Lang Leav's poems from the past decade (there are a few new ones too!) Lang's prose is beautiful and radiates a lovely calmness. Sadly, I didn't feel a connection to what I was reading but I still have an appreciation for Lang's talent as a writer.
"The Gift of Everything" by Lang Leav is a wonderful collection of poetry that shows the depth of understanding one's self as well as the pain of what it means to leave parts of yourself behind in order to grow into the person you have the potential to be. Books like this, and poetry in general, is severely underrated!

I think this is my favorite collection of Leav’s so far. I enjoyed revisiting some old poems and I really loved the new poems sprinkled throughout- I can see how much she has grown as a poet and writer the past few years.
This was a boring and monotonous read - the same Tumblr poem 100 times - she loved someone very deeply and he didn’t love her back and it is written about many, many tjmes.
Very well written poetry and definitely will be revisiting it over time!
