Everyone needs this book. It is hilarious! If you get it or look at in a book store look at the section about kid games.
I enjoyed this book! I borrowed it from the library, and I think it would be a great gift to give. It has lots of tips and information on hospitality - from hosting a party to what to say to someone who has recently lost someone. A great gift for a recent graduate who enjoys DIY and crafts.

You know, it was funny. And I love Amy Sedaris. But still, it was just a cookbook. (and entertaining one, yes. But a cookbook nonetheless).
And I aint no cook.

This book was alright. There are some good recipes in it, but I'm glad I didn't buy it. I like her quirky writing and there were some funny non sequitors in here, but it just didn't "zing" like i wanted it to. Amy's awfully cute though out of her Jerri Blank costume...
This is both a hilarious read AND a great cookbook (even if I can't use a lot of the recipes). My favorite recipes are the Spanish rice and lentil soup. Fans of Strangers With Candy will adore the fact that there's a recipe for "Jerri's Hot Fruit" in the book.
This doesn’t work too well as an audiobook but I loved the writing and the humor.
Amy Sedaris is cute and all but I was honestly a little bored by the time I finished with this book.
