Tyson was friends with Seth at UVM. Rossi was on the CU hockey team with Cohen (Seth and Cohen’s book is [b:Goal Lines & First Times|56225260|Goal Lines & First Times (CU Hockey, #3)|Eden Finley|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1611235894l/56225260._SY75_.jpg|87577154].) Tyson and Rossi meet properly for the first time at a graduation party. Both are heading off to Boston now that they’ve graduated university. Tyson is a bisexual, “flamboyant twink”, desperate to bottom for the first time. Rossi thought he was straight until Tyson propositions him and suggests one last night of college experimentation. A blowjob in a bathroom at the party and they go their separate ways. Both are shocked to discover that they are interns at the same company for the summer, where there mutual attraction blossoms.
Both characters are likeable. Rossi (his first name is actually Gian or Giovanni) takes discovering his queerness in his stride with no ‘gay panic’ and his old high school friends don’t bat an eyelash when he comes out to them - to be fair there isn’t any room for that in the short story.
Characters from CU Hockey are mentioned along with a brief mention of Ezra from [b:Egotistical Puckboy|59623625|Egotistical Puckboy (Puckboys, #1)|Eden Finley|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1642162574l/59623625._SY75_.jpg|93893084], it definitely complements those books, but Rossi finishes playing hockey when he graduates, so neither of the main characters are technically hockey players.
It’s an MM romance with a touch of hockey. It’s short on character and relationship development, but it’s a cute short story.

Loved this novella set in the CU world - Rossi and Tyson were a great pair. They had a spicy meet cute that I totally got behind and then I loved their second chance meeting - so good!! Plenty of story, plenty of spice and a great addition to this series.

Tyson ♡ Giovanni (Rossi)
….
I plead - this story should’ve been part of the whole series as a main - a novel - not novella.
More, more. I want to know what’s next. Please…. Like pretty please (insert cat from Shrek) … a little bonus what’s in the future!?
The confidence oozing from these two. I loved everything about them. Loved it. All.
….
“Maybe I’ll see you in Boston.” - “Only if I’m lucky” // “…and before I can react, his thumb is tracing my lips.” // “…and I don’t know what that makes me other than interested in more of you.” // “…then I’ll be spending all night trying to keep my hands out of it.” // “that looks like a lot of fun…” // “You weren’t what I was expecting. At all.” // “He brings out the best in me…” // “Rossi grabs one of my hands, raises it to his lips, and presses a kiss to the palm.” // “You do things to me, and I lose all sense of my surroundings.” // “…so I can at least give you the best damn cuddles of your life.” // “when you know, you know” // “Little did I know my graduation party would be much more significant.”
