I found this book to be quite unrealistic and repetitive. the concept is what intrigued me but i feel let down. it could’ve been executed better, with more tension and suspense, instead of people just dying for no reason. there was lots of commentary on young people and phone use/social media, almost as if the author is implying young adults going 5 weeks without a phone will lead to them killing each other. i also found it difficult to care about any of the characters or differentiate between a lot of them.
there were a couple parts that did creep me out and i liked the found footage interview style

This is a great book! There's some unanswered questions that you're left with, but that is the nature of the book. Highly recommend it

Excellent book. REALLY well written and put together. I liked the multiple perspectives and I felt the author excelled at writing different people who all sounded very different. I liked the ambiguity and I liked that this book was messy and unclear as to who exactly did what and who was to blame because there was no single person who was to blame for the events of the book. Bockoven writes people and their feelings, thoughts, and self-justifications really well, and that is why this book is a work of art.
