All the stars!!!!

NOAH BARTON you are a dream...WOW!!

This book made me squeal, swoon and melt. Gennie was a 10/10 character for me! Also Shay's vulnerability with learning to trust again....felt that in my soul!

To all my romance readers this is a must! Its small town romance meets real world issues with some SPICE!!! WOW!

10/10!

This book was really sweet, no pun intended. The paper copy that I got from the library looked very well-circulated; the ebook isn't available outside of the Amazon ecosystem (womp wommm) but thankfully they had the physical copy! In a Jam takes place in the small town of Friendship, RI after FMC Shay's fiance breaks off their engagement right before the wedding. She then finds out that she's been left her step-grandmother's tulip farm in her will, but must get married within the year in order to officially take ownership. When she arrives, she meets her formerly very awkward best friend Noah who used to be a lawyer in NYC but is now back in Rhode Island running the family farm and parenting his incarcerated sister's daughter. Oh and of course he's super hot now (and no one lets him forget it, nor do they let him forget how unattractive and awkward he apparently was as a child, which...is very small town of them). He makes an offer to marry her so she can keep the property with the idea that he'll be able to use the land but in reality he's in love with her and has ALWAYS been in love with her - so hopefully he can make their marriage work for real.

I thought it was cute and well written if not particularly deep. The spice was enjoyable both in amount and quality, and I was happy to get the book back into circulation for the next person on the hold list! Given that I get most of my books from the library, my ultimate rating system is "would I actually spend money on this?" In this case I wouldn't be in a rush to go out and buy it but at some point, I'll probably pick it up. I'd definitely recommend it.

I’m so obsessed with this book. It made me laugh and sob uncontrollably.

The audio was so spectacular that I already can’t wait to listen to it again.
