Surreal and beautiful art, with an intriguing set of characters and storyline. I loved the interplay between the talk radio narration and the stylized use of colors (or lack thereof) for emphasis. Definitely a quirky, interesting read.

I received a copy of this graphic novel through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Honestly it was a very confusing book. The characters were faceless (literally drawn without faces) but mostly the art style was okay. It was a quick read, so it wasn’t overly difficult to finish it…But by the end of the story I was so confused and seriously didn’t know what the point of whole story was…Could anyone explain what the hell did I just read?

Fun little novel with simple yet bright art style.
I've read this in one seating.
With a little bit of spooks and a slight emotional rollercoaster. This is a comic I'd pick up again.

Lulling and melancholic this story carries you along it's well worn path.

The Art style is incredibly unique, using body language rather then facial expressions to covey emotions.

This did not feel as it had any resolution but I can't say I'm angry about it, because it just felt right. Like this was the inevitability we had been working towards since the beginning.

Though this did feel like the natural conclusion, I do find myself questioning, what in the world is going on in this book. Both with the missing persons, and in the romance, and also the other side plot with the zines.
I do feel like I could read this book 6 more times and not truly understand what is going on.

Absolutely adored this! I feel like I need to read it five more times. I was drawn in by the art, and it didn't disappoint. There are many, many incredible panels that create such mysterious and impactful atmospheres. I also really appreciate how the characters are drawn - they are super expressive and relatable, which I find impressive given they are drawn without faces.

The story is very mysterious, and while I cannot say I understand it (I think I may need to re-read a few times, which I'm certainly not complaining about) the characters really did resonate with me.

By the last page, I was filled with the feeling of "THIS is why I love graphic novels"! The experience of reading this book was unique and spellbinding. I just wish I could find a physical copy somewhere!
