I say this with reluctance because of my well documented hatred of Damian, but this is the Teen Titans I've been waiting for. Can't wait for volume 2.

This book was ok. I like the character of Damian and I have a basic knowledge of the DC universe. I was hoping for some new characters, (haven't Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven been "teens" for a very long time?).I think I will stick with Gotham Academy.

Ehhhh....Damien has never been my favorite. In fact, he is my least favorite but this wasn't half bad. I don't buy the Batman forgetting his son's birthday story, but I could get into the rest of the book. It's a young Teen Titans, which is fine, and the jokes and the trying-to-be-serious times are kind of corny. I can see it appealing to my 11 year old and at the same time I can read it and be entertained.

60/100.
La historia no está nada mal para una introducción. El arte de Pham de los números #3-#5 me pone de los nervios.

I really wanted to like this, I really did. But I was just very confused throughout. Why is Starfire there? She's a contemporary of Dick Grayson. Beast Boy and Raven confused me for similar reasons. And why is this Kid Flash named Wally West? What happened? Or did I miss something?
I did like the internal conflict that Damian was dealing with but he didn't always express himself well. His scene with Alfred in the beginning was absolutely delightful. The story was also chock full of cliches, like becoming friends two minutes after meeting each other.
All in all, not good but not terrible. I think I just prefer Damian in stories in which he's a foil for Dick.
