Rebel Without A Claus reminds me of Emma Hart's older books. It's sassy, funny and a fun second chance romance surrounded by Christmas. There is one extremely funny mistletoe scene that made the entire book worth it. Quinn reminded me a lot of Brooke from Being Brooke, one of Emma's first novels. Being Brooke is one of my favorite EH novels so take that as you will.

For a steamier holiday romance, read Rebel Without A Claus.

To say Quinn has a complex relationship with Christmas is an understatement—and I'm right there with her despise of Christmas consumerism, expectations and earworm songs—having to go from Grinchy to Holly Jolly Hallmark happy in order to save the Christmas-time Santa grotto for her family and the town would drive anyone chestnuts.

Add in a long-lost crush, Nicholas, as a last minute Santa replacement, a very pregnant sister, and a grandpa that won't stop spiking the eggnog and you're setup for lots of yuletide exploits and hilarity.

Whether you're a holiday fanatic or would rather hibernate until spring, Rebel Without a Claus is a fun, steamy, laugh-out-loud read perfect for everyone's holiday reading list.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable holiday romcom! I loved Quinn so much. Nick and Quinn were both fun and funny together. I loved their banter and watching their relationship grow. Definitely recommend this one!

Cute

This was a cute and funny slow burn. I enjoyed the banter and the humor between Quinn and Nicholas, the chemistry was a little hard to read at times but it was there.

I really really loved this one!!

All sassy and snark in the right places, all lovable and understanding on the other hand!

Quinn & Nicholas have history, and not a good one if you ask her. But now she’s in need of a Santa to keep the family business running, and Nicholas is the only one available… working closely together for weeks… how will that work out for them?!?!

This is an absolute fun & cute story to get you in the Christmas mood!! Totally recommend it!!

So Cute! And Fun, Funny & A Little Spicy

This book was so good! Once I started I really did not want to stop!

The female lead is so SASSY! I love it! And having her HS crush who walked away come back at just the right time? PERFECTION lol

These two were absolutely hilarious with their banter and sexual tension and innuendos flying back and forth lol

And once the author broke the seal on them getting back together it was glorious!

There might not have been a huge amount of schmexy times but what was given was grand.

I honestly think the best part of the book though overall was her goofy family and how that translated into how she was about Christmas and life ❤️❤️

It was a surprise when the author said she had this one coming out. And I think it was originally only supposed to be a novella, but it turned into a full story. And I’m glad, because it was so much fun! I loved grumpy Quinn. While I personally adore the holidays, there are some things I also agreed with her about. And then there was Nicholas. I fell in love with him as well. I was a little surprised with his name there weren’t any “St. Nicholas” or “St. Nick” jokes. But that’s okay. Emma Hart knows how to make me laugh out loud as I read between the banter back and forth with characters, the crazy situations, the internal dialog of her characters, or the crazy elderly relative that always pops up in her stories.

There were so many scenes that just tickled me so much I was laughing out loud. There was one that was a teaser she shared in the group, about “Call me elf one more time!”

Elf is one of my favorite Christmas movies. There was when Quinn was thinking about his beard and had the thought that what his beard was best suited for was sitting on. Lol. And then there was a moment where she was given a long name that included Grinch and Scrooge, and as I was reading it, my brain thought “Scrooge McDuck” which wasn’t actually what was said to her. But then, in perfect sync with my thoughts, Quinn restated the name adding “McDuck” to it. I’m pretty sure I need to hang out with the author some time. I think it would be a blast.

A perfectly fun holiday story with both sexy times and sweet times, definitely a great surprise from the author this year!

Christmas Grump runs into high school crush during the high stress holiday season when her family needs her the most. The angst was perfect. The internal dialogue was laugh out loud. This was my first read of an Emma Hart book and it won't be my last. If you love happy endings with spice and Hallmark moments, this one's for you!
