Doesn’t reinvent the wheel of the “detective with his own demons must catch a serial killer” genre, but executes it really, really well. Chilling, suspenseful, absorbing.
Maybe because I don’t follow the series but as a stand alone book, this book is hard to read. I don’t feel anything for the characters and the round-about way the story took was, for me long-winded and annoying. I’ll give another title a try and see how I feel.
Fantastic book , on to the next Jo nesbo I think ! Wish I had more time to read it faster

I enjoyed this book. I certainly wouldn't compare Nesbo to Larsson, but it did the job just fine. The story was good, but I felt all the plot twists and character build ups were quite obvious from the beginning, in summary, it's like a good Iain Rankin
