Great installment in this saga of myth and legends! It ends on a cliffhanger so I hope I get the next book soon from the library…

The gang of seven went into Muriel (goddess) hole to the underworld. They are essentially dead. Suri is being tortured by the fane.

The story advances 5+ years in this book.  With the war at a stalemate.  

Malcom's 'prophecies' have finally come to fruition and we follow the 7 into a swamp.  The story ends on a cliffhanger and I didn't even wait a full hour before starting book  5.

Slight spoiler warning 
This book didn't have any parts that wrecked me as badly as book 3, but still a great read.
