Solid, not the most "at the edge of my seat" read of the series so far but pretty good regardless :)
Reading Noragami is like eating a hearty feast. Each turn of the page is like taking a bite of excellent food. The problem with Norgami is that it’s so heavy and rich. This is a series where if you binge it, it’s okay but you don’t get how rich and deep it truly is.
This has a lot of plot twists and “gasp what’s gonna happen next,” especially in this arc. I really like this series. It’s just so exquisitely done.

This volume was lighter than the few previous ones, but enjoyable nevertheless. I also love the way the writer-artist puts a little something in the end and makes you want to read the next volume as well.
Holy fucking SHIT, Bishamon was a fuckin' BOSS in this volume! Hot damn, she was not taking any shit from anyone, even the fucking queen of the underworld! My love is still strong for Kofuku, but Bishamon might just tie with her for best girl of Noragami!
This was an awesome conclusion to this arc in more ways than one. We got to see great character growth from Yato and Bishamon, we got some strong emotional moments, and we got to see Yukine once again proving himself to be a positive guide to Yato. I'm curious to learn more about Yato's past, but after such an intense arc, I'd like a respite from the chaos.
Something I can't believe I've failed to mention up until now is the strong artwork. The artwork/art style has been strong the entire series, but Adachitoka pulled no punches in this volume. The final showdown in Yomi felt dark, dreary, and insanely creepy, Yato's talk with Ebisu was uplifting if not sad, and the fight scenes were intense without overwhelming the emotions presented. Adachitoka know how to treat each scene with care and how to draw out the emotions in each panel as well as draw a beautiful manga.
Those are my scattered thoughts on this incredible volume. Looking forward to volume 11!
