wowwwww
this book's bloody fantastic no wonder it's a bestseller
ngl I was skeptical at first cause I read the five people you meet in heaven and thought it was a bit overrated but woww THIS book deserves every ounce of hype it gets
"Love is the only rational act." Amazing quote. Fucking amazing.
and just the overall lessons in the book. PERSONALLY I disagree with some of them (like imo you don't always have to be living up to your full potential and it's okay to just live, etc) but yea this books still fantastic
I would def recommend. an eye opener and beautifully written

I picked this up because I remember it being on my dad's end table. I wished I'd read it with him back then.
What I learned most from this book : “It’s not just other people we need to forgive. We also need to forgive ourselves. For all the things we didn’t do. All the things we should have done.”
― Mitch Albom, Tuesdays with Morrie

A beautiful story about two friends learning how to live and die well. Some great advice in these chapters.

Tuesdays with Morrie is a profound meditation on life, love, and the inevitability of death. Albom’s writing is simple yet deeply moving, capturing the essence of Morrie’s wisdom in a way that feels timeless. The beauty of the book lies not just in Morrie’s lessons, but in the raw, intimate conversations between him and Mitch. Each chapter is a small revelation, peeling back layers of life’s most essential truths with grace and humility. The themes of human connection, the value of time, and the search for meaning resonate deeply, reminding us of what truly matters. While the book’s emotional depth is undeniable, at times, the writing feels a little too tidy, almost too perfect in its delivery of Morrie’s philosophies. Nonetheless, Tuesdays with Morrie is an inspiring read, one that lingers long after you’ve turned the last page, encouraging you to live with intention and to love with open hands.
