He calls her Nanny as a nickname and didn't stop so it's a no from me

Olivia Dade brought us an amazing rom-com that tackled some serious issues. She talks about couple dynamics, The Hollywood standard, mental health issues, and more. Lauren Clegg is a heavy set, short woman who falls in love with Alex Woodroe, a Hollywood TV star. In my opinion, the slow burn was well done. Mrs. Dade makes the story feel realistic while still adding the Hollywood magic we all love. While it does develop slowly, I do like how Alex and Lauren slowly realize their feelings. It takes several times apart and some self-awareness. One of the ways the discover their feelings is hoe Alex constantly defends her to the world. Lauren was under the impression due to her childhood that it is easier not to complain when insults come her way and pretend they do not happen or matter. That she does not matter. Alex strives not only for her to see herself the way he does, but make sure she is not hurt my those around her, even herself. On the other end, you have Alex who has ADHD how carries major guilt and genuine care for others. Lauren does the same for him by making him feel like his feelings are valid while also helping him through them. Alex's ADHD is explained very well by how its the little things that can really frustrate someone and how the mental illness can be shown in the littlest of ways, like forgetting to charge one's phone or getting to the airport late to catch a flight. While the story does do the cliche break-up, Mrs. Dade brings them back together in a realistic way that made me sniffle. In all, this was a beautiful story and one I would recommend. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

I love plus-size representation in romance novels. Especially romance novels with spice and where the plus-size person ends up with a happily ever after. Alex and Lauren (Wren) have great chemistry. Definite enemies to lovers trope. There was the usual miscommunication that kept the plot moving. A slimy character, Ron, adds to the story as I wanted to strangle him every time either Wren or Alex had to interact with him.

I liked most of the story, though at some point I wanted to scream at both of them to not be too self destructive. I also wasn't a fan of the whole fanfic business. In general I thought it was a highly unrealistic idea and specifically not a fan of the content. Maybe I'm more of a prude than I thought

I went into this cautiously optimistic. There was no way Olivia Dade could top Spoiler Alert. No way Alex and his bouncy self could take over Marcus in my heart, right? No way Lauren, who seemed kind of stoic and distant in SA could beat out April. No. Way.
What a fool I was.
Alex is just the best. Unapologetically himself. Flawed and thoughtful and beautiful inside and out. I love his devotion to his mother and doing what he feels is right. His emotional journey was *so good.* And Lauren? Oh sweet gods. I love her. I love her so much. I love her strength and her humor. Her growth is so visceral in this book. I love the very end, though. It's like the best culmination of both characters and I just.. I don't have words.
All the Feels is, by far and hands down, the best romcom I've read all year.

So deliciously good. And the ADHD rep was fantastic!!!

4.5 stars rounded up!

I loved this, and liked it much more than Spoiler Alert (which I did like fine). Lauren and Alex are the perfect “enemies” to friends to lovers trope and hit on a bunch of other fun romance tropes along the way. Olivia Dade truly writes fiction for romance lovers. It’s also just such a relief to go in knowing her fat characters will be realistic, 3 dimensional, and desirable and worthy of love. I am dying for the next books in this series and need to read her older work.

Only half star off is for length — it was just a little bit too slow at some points for me — but all in all I could not recommend it more for any romance fan!
