I'm not sure I would have finished this one if it wasn't for the fact that I bought it on my kindle, and the alternative was leaving it on a digital shelf forever.
That is not to say that the book wasn't without good parts, and I did find it funny in part, my main gripe is that it had potential. It reminded me of the fanfiction and stories you write at 15, but then move on from or continue developing into something much diferent. The characters here are left underdeveloped and too perfect and/or cliché for my taste, the plot repetetive and full of unecessarities, the descriptors too detailed and too many (if you introduce 3 characters and describe their feelings and each outfit from head to toe, I will forget the first person's name by the time we are at the shoes if the third). Different storylines keep repeating with diferent characters (that aren't that diferent after all),

what was up with all the cat mafia stuff

, the main character is good and pure but strong and brave and not aware his own powers, some of the sillier bits felt out of place, and a lot of the gay plotlines and jokes felt unecessary. There is a good idea deep down, but to get through it you need to trugde through a lot of stuff that at least left me analysing, editing and annoying as I went along.
