Megumi jumps into a domain expansion to help Maki, Nanami, and another sorcerer. He opens Chimera Shadow Garden and after some fighting opens a hole for everyone to escape but someone else enters --the shapeshifter/ necromanced form of Toji (Megumi's father) who defeated the curse spirit and in a battle frenzy grabs the strongest opponent to fight which turns out to be Megumi. While fighting Toji zombie figures out this is is son and he kills himself to save him. Itadori is force fed multiple fingers and Sukuna awakens and starts raising havoc amongst humans and curses alike.

This one was rough. The emotional manipulation, the finishing of a few stories, damn. My head is spinning in the best way.

absolutely gutting. i do not understand why toji was down to sell megumi to the zenin clan like that, but damn if his mini reunion didn’t get me AND SO QUICK AND CASUAL WITH NANAMI AND MAKI AND OLD MAN ZENIN ALL LOOKING KINDA DEAD?

- “our souls will continue to circulate regardless of humanity’s fate. we’ll meet again in the wastelands one hundred years from now” damn that is romance. would this work on me? absolutely.

I don't like all the info dumping in the middle of intense scenes, but I find the way it shifts to third person narration sometimes interesting. I want to find out what Megumi thinks about what just happened and if he's going to find out the truth at some point. I wish that moment could've lasted a bit longer, because I loved it. I wish that character lasted a little bit longer too :(
