Great book. Ventura is extremely well-researched, and is passionate about getting the truth out to the people. I saw some reviews saying some chapters/reasons contradicted each other; but I don't think the author was conveying that each one was to be taken as gospel. He said in the beginning that his goal with the book was to argue 63 different reasons that there was a conspiracy, (as if he were a defense attorney for Oswald) because in a court of law, Oswald's attorney would only need to convince a jury of 1, but he was never given that opportunity. The final chapter was the best, in my opinion. I plan to read more of Ventura's books.

I found this book enjoyable in that most of it was like listening to a friend talk to me about the assassination instead of a really dry read. I felt that some of the theories covered in the book were a little far fetched and that they had been debunked over the years. I found the book was easy to read and flowed rather well. This book may not be the end all, be all of assassination books but it is worth the read if you are interested in the subject matter.

Very based from the authors perspective and opinion rather than facts, half of the book is anecdotal witness accounts. A lot is debunked and stuff like “my gun friend and I have the same opinion and we know our stuff about guns so u should trust us”

Granted, Jesse Ventura is probably not the best source for information on the assassination of JFK, but this book is so readable that it was almost fun. Ventura covers all the usual ground and adds his own commentary to boot. A great summary or starting point -- either one.
