My only real complaint is that I wish we could have seen more of Taniel and Ka-Poel together in the series. They were the best part of the first trilogy.

This was the last book I was able to borrow from the library before they shut down. That was in March and now it’s May. I held off because I knew I’d get to the end of the book and the series and I’d still be here.

Action-packed, military fantasy along with the rest of the trilogy. McClellan delivers again, and is able to tie everything up in a tidy finale!
