This is probably the third time I've read the books and it still had me sobbing at the end. It was such a beautiful ending and Cian was a beautiful man from the beginning. I couldn't have picked anyone better for Moira. I loved this trilogy so much, words can't describe it.

Great ending to the trilogy!

Is Cian the best ever or what! Ugh he is amazing. So is Moira and I really really want to read their perfect story of how they grew old together. NR, my love, you never cease to impress me.

I so loved my re-read of this series! Such a fun story and so easy to digest.

The Circle trilogy is my favourite of NR's trologies and this is my favourite of the three circles. I think its because Cian pulls you in, being the 'bad' guy, the loner, the misunderstood - she managed to pull all those heart strings with him, and get him redeemed at the end! The trilogies from Nora do tend to be more paramormal, filled with magic and in this series, vampires, dragons and parallel worlds. The books have their humour too. Not a heavy read but always enjoyable and the paranormal elements are not too far removed as to make them hard to follow.
adventurous hopeful medium-paced

The final installment of this trilogy lives up to the hype. Moira rises to her position as queen as the circle prepares for the final confrontation with Lillith in the Valley of Silence. She and Cian finally face the reality of their feelings and struggle to make the best of a hopeless situation. I felt the tension leading up to the final battle and it was as exciting as anticipated. The ending was nicely unexpected. While Cian is a delicious hero, my surprise was the depth of the serious Moira who showed more passion than I believed she had in her.

Well done.

Book Three of the Circle trilogy sees the battle between humans and vampires approaching at last. As the time grows short, Moira decides she wants to know love with Cian McKenna, the circle's vampire member, even if both are aware that there can be no future together.

This installment is much darker, particularly in regards to Davey, the young vampire who serves as child to Lilith, although their relationship is more complicated than that.

Roberts' entry into the currently popular urban fantasy genre was definitely a winner. All the women in her books are delightful, but I think Blair may be one of my favorites. She's a hoot, almost as kick-ass as Eve Dallas. Seriously, if you've never picked up a Nora Roberts, do yourself a favor and get one now!

And so I'm done with this trilogy, and I agree with every single person who said this was a good idea that needed building on. Because it is an excellent idea, and I think it's one of the more interesting plot lines that Nora Roberts has ever tackled, but everything happened way too quickly for the epic scope of it. She didn't think some of the ideas through very well.

Also, I'm kind of getting tired of the way every single male character is the same in all of these stories. Like every man alive is the same. They all punch people instead of expressing emotion, and they'd all rather take a bullet in the chest than tell someone (not the chick they're in love with, though sometimes them too) that they love them. Cian and Hoyt are a case in point, but since I just reread the Quinn brothers trilogy, it brings them to mind as well.

But hey, whatever. I choose to read these things, I have to live with the consequences.
