I loved reading Moira and Cian's story. This was one of my favorite Robert's Trilogys.

Since it was known that Cian and Moira were going to be coupled, I had been on pins and needles wondering how they were going to have their happily ever after. I was not disappointed. I loved seeing Moira’s growth through the other books, it was wonderful. And Cian, the lovable vampire even though he tries not to be, you gotta love him. My only problem was that my kids wouldn’t leave me alone so I could read the last battle and all that in one sitting, lol. I couldn’t be happier with the way this whole trilogy ended!

The final battle of is upon us.  The characters are very complex.  This book has all of the six but focuses more on Moira, Queen of Geall, and Cian, the 1000 year old vampire.  In the first two books, characters paired up.  We have Moira and Cian who have circled each other for the first two books.   This book really delved into the characters more deeply.  Cian is such an interesting character.  I really felt what he went through and the difficult decisions he made.  He is such a tragic character.  Moira had so much responsibility and she chose to stand up to all of it.  She had such grace.  We also learn more about Lilith, Lora and Davey.  The evil is truly that.  The preparation for the war is well documented.  The final battle is very dramatic.  While I wasn't surprised by the end, it was so welcome.  I would recommend this trilogy to anyone who love good versus evil that includes an epic story.
