I found this to be boring and a struggle to finish. I think the story could have been summed up in he last 100 pages.

There is one part that felt more like convenient info dump towards the end in lieu of showing, but it was done in a clever manner. That is truly my only gripe with the book, otherwise it is a beautiful and spectacular story of coming in one’s power and self and fighting the power of patriarchy that used traditions and religion to impose control - including using women as tools of their own oppression.

Honestly, sometimes the pacing was kind of weird but it was overall an enjoyable read.

I love this book! It reminds me of Ender's Games! Which is also my favorite but this book is so much better! Omg too good. I don't even know how to properly review this book.
