I'll admit it, as a Buffy fan this book series wasn't going to be hard to sell to me. Thought-provoking high literature it ain't - but gosh, it's fun as hell to read. Definitely falls into what I lovingly refer to as the "beach read" category.

I really find the characters in the story charming, from Kate to her son to her best friend. Love hearing about their adventures. Great listen on the way into work.

I wasn't plannong on reading this one but I found myself thinking about Kate our heroine so I picked it up. It was as much fun as I hoped. I have a feeling I'll be reading the whole series as some point.

This tries to be a grown up buffy type thing. it's a "demon-hunting soccer mom." It was just TOO cheesy. I couldn't finish it.

Cute follow-up to Carpe Demon. Follows Kate as she juggles demon hunting and family life as they get ready for Christmas.

There's new character in this book. And it was a little predictable.

Second in series, and the demons are getting worse. Is the new rogue hunter in town Kate's dead husband?
