Loved reading this story and the connection that brough them together, and watching their dual investigations!

I had no idea what to expect when I started this book, and honestly, at first I wasn‘t sure whether I‘d want to continue it (teenagers, satellite dishes, signals...) but then I got hooked pretty quickly! Kennedy and Nolan, you just have to root for both of them.

This was a great read! I did not put it down once since I started it. I finished it at 2:22 am on a windy and rainy night. Such a good mystery/thriller book!

I had originally given this 3 stars, but every time I saw it in my Read pile, I wondered if I actually had read it. It was so forgettable. While not poorly done and interesting while reading, I truly just didn’t care about the characters the whole way through, and I care less as time goes on.

 I feel like there was some overlap here of the real and the magical, and I'm not sure if it was fully fleshed out for me. Also possibly because I just do not know how a space radio telescope thing works. But the characters are very cute.

Another Young Adult novel by Miranda. I preferred 'The Safest Lies' and 'Fragments of the Lost'. While this book had its moments, it was not quite what I had hoped for.

Notes if recommending to teens:
* Minor kissing
* I honestly don't recall cussing in this one

Nolan and Kennedy are both teenagers that have suffered unimaginable tragedies within their families . While looking into mysterious circumstances surrounding those tragedies, they both realize that they are receiving the same signs (from space? from ghosts?) and that their mysteries are interrelated.

This book was really unique, and the plot definitely draws you in early on in the novel. The fact that two huge mysteries are included keep things intriguing, and it is fun to see how everything eventually ties together. I really liked both Kennedy and Nolan, and was rooting for them the entire time. As I mentioned above, there are two mysteries here. One of them I had figured out before the big reveal, but the other one I did not. I usually figure things out early on, so the fact that I was taken by surprise with one of the resolutions was a big positive for me.

This is the first book I have read by Megan Miranda, and I definitely was intrigued enough with this book to check out some of her others!
