Not my favorite by Billy Collins - the first poetry collection I read of his was Aimless Love, and I think that’s a good place to start I’d you’re interested; it compiles some of his best from several works along with poems written specifically for that book. 

Don’t get me wrong, Whale Day has some really good poetry in it. Didn’t resonate with me as much as his other works and that’s okay!
